If you had only one minute to live, who would you want to be with? I know it might seem like a morbid question, but somehow I guess the idea of death somehow makes everything else irrelevant, your job, your worries, responsibilities, hopes, dreams all become insignificant. My best friend told me that everyone's biggest fear is death. I guess she's right, but most of us don't think about it because we all think of death as something only old people should worry about. I was watching this horrific documentary about a plane highjacking where one of the highjackers kills twelve passengers. He just simply executes them! he killed two young girls, shot them in their heads. they were twenty, they were travelling to see the sites, two best friends. They were without their family or loved ones and they were about to die! Just wondered how traumatic that must have been.

In a lighter vain (If you can call it that), if there was an asteroid about to plough into earth, and there was no hope, who would you want to be with during the last minute before impact? Remember the cheesy TV shows where the guy tells the girl that since they are about to die they might as well have a 'last hurrah'? Well, leaving the last hurrah aside, I used to think that the concept was kind of cool, even though I have to admit, it is a tad morbid. But the whole issue kind of evokes thoughts of 'eternal togetherness' in a weird way.....don't you think?

Anyways, I guess I should get a better fantasy.......
