Life, sometimes can be so heartless and cold! I know that god is supposed to have all the reasons up his sleeves, but there are certain things that make even the most hard hearted go weak in the knees.

There was this newpaper article about another train disaster in Sri Lanka. We just lost many passengers in a bus that jumped the red light and tried to outrun a train, this story is even more heart wrenching. There was this picture of a mangled car which had been dragged over two hundred meters. Apparently the two occupants were a husband and wife who died on the spot. As if that was not bad enough, what's even worse is where they were headed before their car hit the train, at an unguarded railway crossing.

A few minutes drive away, a four year old boy was waiting with his teacher at his elocution class for his parents to come and pick him up.  Little did the poor boy know that his parents had just died in a horrific accident! I was just wondering how in the world you could console a little boy waiting for his parents? How do you even begin to explain to him that they wont be coming? How does a boy of that age deal with something as traumatic as losing both his parents in such a way? These are the type of events that can permanently affect anyone's psyche, especially when it happens at such a tender age.
